Ours is a unique gallery in the heart of Hexham showcasing some of the region’s finest artists and designers. View a selection of high quality British-made contemporary fine-art, ceramics & sculpture alongside our handmade and bespoke-designed furniture.
Minerva offers young people and adults with different learning abilities, fee-based, structured courses in textiles, art and design, pottery, photography and furniture reclamation in a friendly, stress-free and supportive environment. Minerva’s shop is due to open soon.
The Queen’s Hall Arts Centre
Queen’s Hall Arts Centre boasts a 350-seat theatre and two galleries. It has an all-year-round programme of the best international and national artists from music, drama, dance, exhibitions, film, comedy and non professional shows. The building is shared with Hexham Library, the Exchange Café and theatre company Théâtre Sans Frontières.
Allendale Forge Studios, Art and Crafts Gallery
A creative hub offering a unique, relaxing shopping experience surrounded by countryside. Browse around open gallery studios, chat with the designers in the gift shop and enjoy a coffee, lunch, cake and ice cream in the café. Open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. Free entry. Fully accessible on two floors and ample free parking right outside.
Broadwood Studios is the home of ceramic artist Steph Jamieson. A ceramics exhibition Pots in the Byre” is held over three weekends in the summer. Firing workshops are an added attraction to the event. Open other times by appointment.
